ASG-Outbound and ASG-Outbound Express are dynamic file transfer solutions that enable users to transfer data between disparate platforms.

ASG-Outbound Express is mainframe-centric and allows files of any record- or block-size combination to be automatically transferred between IBM-compatible, z/OS servers (MVS, VSE, or VM) and PCs, network servers, and AS/400 and UNIX workstations. ASG-Outbound Express supports transfers of DB2 tables and provides the ability to extract fields from DB2 databases, as well as VSAM and QSAM data sets.

ASG-Outbound Enterprise provides a solution for the sharing of data held by another operating system and/or on a different CPU, PC, UNIX machine, or AS/400 without compromising the data's integrity. ASG-Outbound Enterprise provides a single client/server communication channel between the same and different platforms and allows for efficient, flexible data transfer by providing these capabilities.
